More practise with my Robo!

Well, today I haven't had time to colour or even make a card.  But this evening I decided to have a go at cutting out the shapes to make roses using the Robo.  I was able to get the outline from an image on my cd and as my Robo doesn't print I cut them out on five different colours, textures and thicknesses of paper.  I then used Tim Holtz distress inks to add different colours.  I am going to leave them to dry before making them up.  It will be interesting to see if all the papers make good roses!

Looks like I am going to be busy once I get started on this little lot.

Thankyou for visiting my blog.

  1. They look good so far, I've cut flower shapes out on my cricut tonight, but I am very limited with the shapes so I'll go back to robo again, so many different shapes to use.
What did you cut them from, paper or card?

  3. Hi Jackie and Lynsey.

Jackie I used paper - I just pulled out a few sheets, all different thicknesses and textures. I got the shape from the rose shapes on the "Click, Print, Go" Paper Flower Expert from My Craft Studio. too them into Robomaster and got the outline. I have a doeflex template but it would take forever to trace them and cut them all!
I will make them up and if they turn out ok will store them for future use (though I might be tempted to make a card first!!)

Lysey, you are very welcome - your cards are lovely. I always like seeing the cards other people make.
